How To Make Sunflower Seed Butter At Home?
It is very easy to make sunflower seed butter at home. Follow below mentioned steps to make your butter at home easily
Ingredients:-
- 3 cups raw sunflower seeds
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon (optional)
- 1 pinch of sea salt
- 2–3 teaspoons melted refined coconut oil or avocado oil, as needed
- vanilla extract
- maple syrup
Instructions:-
- First of all, preheat an oven to 350° F.
- Take a large bowl. In this bowl toss raw sunflower seeds with cinnamon or any spice you want in your butter.
- Spread them on a baking sheet and toast for 18 to 20 minutes evenly. After all seeds turn golden brown remove pan from oven.
- Place toasted sunflower seeds in a bowl of food processor and blend on high until a mealy texture is formed (it will take approx two minutes).
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl and continue blending on medium to high speed until a thick paste is formed (it will take approx 10 minutes)
- After the paste is formed add the vanilla extract and maple syrup then blend to combine.
